[The Cuckoos are huddled together on the of the couches, curled up in blankets, and watching a film. It's French. It's called Un long dimanche de fiançailles and it is very much a comfort film for the three sisters tonight, especially after their short and painful separation. To anyone paying attention, they have been just that more attached at the hip the last day and a bit more reserved with their catty insults. There is something humbling and frightening about how easily they could have been bested.]

Content: Josh is feeling much better after being the local first aid kit.

[Josh always feels pretty crappy after intense healing sessions -- which is basically every single time the mansion gets attacked -- but fortunately, he has the ability to recover from that fairly quickly after waking up. This time he was passed out for about twelve hours after healing everybody involved in the Brotherhood fight, but got up afterwards, said "Bleagh" at the runny oatmeal they shoved at him in the med ward, and headed to the kitchen. After some better food and a talk with Bobby, he's gotten much better.

Now he's taken his skateboard out for a spin, and returns to the mansion feeling refreshed. He's now sitting on the front steps of the mansion wiping off the mud from his skateboard and whistling to himself.]

Okay, so, in order to preserve my sanity while I get back into the rhythm of things with class, I'm trying something a little different. This will work kind of like the day-in-the-life posts, except I'm just going to throw up a few comments for a few specific characters, and then a general "Bobby's in the kitchen eating ice cream; come say hi" one which anyone can tag into after that. =)

Comments will be in vague chronological order, but we all know that TIME IS IN FLUX at XMH, so it doesn't matter too much when this stuff happens!

Content: "So there was this Brotherhood thing that just went down," as Emma has mentioned. Forge is dealing with some of the aftermath as well, with a lot of pent-up jealousy and anger issues, and OH MAN. Watch out. This guy is probably a very scary sight to see when angry.

Notes: Forge specifically has issues with a certain duo who broke into his lab, but he certainly needs playtimes with people in general, so feel free to jump in! - Iris

[Forge is walking down the hallway from his workshop. He hasn't even had the time yet to fix up his cyborg parts from the fight. He's walking with a slight limp, and every time he takes a step, his mechanical leg lets out a squeak. It would be comical, and people would be laughing, if it weren't for the fact that he's also practically bursting at the seams with anger. At a hefty six-foot-five, the Maker, well, makes for some pretty scary stuff when pissed off.]

Content: So there was this Brotherhood thing that just went down and it's quite possible that there are people who either want to speak calmly with her or else who have been summoned. And by speak, we clearly mean argue. And summoned most likely means a dressing down. Except for Bobby. He's safe. It's all good though.

[Rogue's decided that she really doesn't like treadmills and is therefore somewhat bundled up so she can take a run outside the lake instead. Okay, I have been SUPER BORED at work recently because there's very little for me to do right now. So I thought it would be a good opportunity to tip-toe back into our awesomeness! I literally cannot remember almost all of our recent/upcoming plot developments, so let's just... keep this chilled (PUN TOTALLY INTENDED)!

Content: Bobby consumes ice cream and talks to you. (CRYSTAL, WHERE IS LAURA, I WANT SOME B/L ADORABLE AWKWARDNESS)

[It's been a difficult couple of weeks. The mood in the mansion is low due to Kevin's absence. Bobby's worried, and he hasn't been able to get any more information from Logan or Emma (apparently there's not enough to divulge, anyway); he's been swamped with classes and tutoring work and training; he hasn't been able to spend much time with (his girlfriend? That's a whole other issue) Laura; and he still doesn't know how to deal with John.

So Bobby's sitting in the kitchen with his one fail-proof cheer-up method: a huge tub of ice cream.]

He actually spends the time shooting surly glares or threatening looks at people curious enough to stare his way, thinking about how he's totally going to die trying to save some idiot kid from himself, and trying to ignore Kitty Pryde's existence. (She's everywhere lately. Like a persistent little kitten. He's bothered even catching a glimpse of her. Why is that? Well, that's none of your fucking business, is it?)

Content: He's just a little bit miserable and exhausted lately.

[Jono massive figure makes for a pretty big lump on the sofa today. It's the day before Christmas, with the sun shining brightly, and this guy is fast asleep, lightly snoring in the rec room. He looks kind of pathetic. He didn't make it back up to his room, and, while trying to stay awake by watching a little TV, just plopped over and fell asleep on the couch. Days have been occupied with finishing up classes and as much training as possible to stay on the route to joining the team, and nights are filled with trying to locate Kevin. With band practice canceled, you'd think he'd have a lot more free time on his hands, but it's exactly the opposite. Now that it's a winter break from classes though... he's got nowhere to be except for continuing the search for Kevin, but he can't even get up right now. Until somebody wakes him up either on purpose or by accident. And then he goes back to sleep. Until the next time someone wakes him. It's probably one of you guys.]

[Ali's outside with a swam of young children. For once, this is not cause for decided alarm. She's been practicing with picture books and her holographic projections to give the kids a bit of holiday cheer going through a different Christmas/Holiday story every night leading up to the Big Day providing a Dazzler Interpretive Christmas projected onto the roof of the mansion.

Tonight, it's the Grinch Who Stole Christmas. Ali spent the day with Max, the Grinch's dog, "following" her around to hype up the little ones, and now she's mid Whoville-Raid in the telling. The kids are loving it, and you should be, too.]

[It's Julian's birthday. Which was technically yesterday, but whatever. He's lounging on the couch, surprisingly not dressed to go partying or out at all. It's very uncharacteristic, really. But with Kevin nowhere to be found and the existence of his newly acquired ball-and-chain, Julian really doesn't have much of a reason to stick with tradition and go out, get wasted, and pick up some girl.

So he's playing Grand Theft Auto instead. Beating up prostitutes and running mobsters over is apparently more tame. And yes, he is playing by manipulating the controller with his telekinesis.]

[Julian just left the showers after a work-out and some extra training, and is walking back to his room to get some more finals studying done. Obviously he's okay with taking his time, because studying is lame and only saved by the presence of Rogue, because if she's there? There's usually not a lot of studying done anyway.

He's sporting a pretty nasty cut over his eye though, because sims can be brutal. It's not bleeding, and he put a butterfly bandage on it, but it probably looks fresh and painful. His head is understandably hurting from it, so studying will be difficult, okay. (Until Josh heals him, of course.)]
