[Kitty laughs, finding it funnier because it's so late. But doesn't everything gain humor in the wee hours of the night?] I don't feel as bad. You know, saying I wasted my time learning about whales instead of studying. It sounds intelligent, don't you think? [Well, Kitty thinks so. She thinks her professor would disagree.] So, what are you doing up?

Yeah, sure. Intelligent. [Julian's too tired to poke fun at her logic, instead all but flopping down the couch next to her. He rubs one of his eyes with the heel of his hand, swinging his other arm over the back of the couch. He peers over at her.] Studying economics. [He gives her a smile that says "I know, it's just as fun as anatomy."]

[Kitty wrinkles her nose. Ew, economics. Ew, anatomy. She does love her classes, but they sure looks a lot better in the light of day. With more sleep.] Sounds riveting. Want to procrastinate with me? It's fun, I promise. [Because...watching whales on tv is a party, definitely.]

[He shrugs tiredly at her question, because why not? But still, he yawns a little as he settled deeper and more comfortably into the couch, watching the program quietly for about three minutes until he can't really take the boring anymore. Or maybe he's tired. Plus something that's been on his mind is occurring to him. And what do you know, Kitty can help.]

Hey, litter box. Be honest. Say I was taking out a girl for the first time. I really liked this girl. Where should I take her?

[Well, isn't she the love guru today? Kitty's not sure if the trust people seem to have in her regarding these matters is flattering or alarming, but she decides to take it as the former.] Well, if you really liked her, you'd take her out to dinner - someplace classy but not stuffy, a comfortable atmosphere. With a big menu selection unless you know exactly what she wants to eat. And make sure this restaurant is near a park. For walking, and other romantic...things. [Kitty doesn't want to elaborate, as she's pretty sure Julian can gather ideas of those 'things' his own.] Why don't you take her to the city? A change of scenery away from the mad house. I'm sure Rogue would love that. [She grins]

[Julian raises an eyebrow and stares, almost impressed, at her devious, all-knowing grin. Slowly, he matches hers with one of his own, but maybe his is a bit more sheepish, considering he's the one who got found out somehow.

Then, in regular Julian fashion, he leans in towards her, a gleam entering his already bright blue eyes.]

So either we've been flirting too much this week or... she spilled to you. [And yes, Kitty. Yes, he says this in a way that makes it quite obvious his follow-up will be "What did she say?" in the event of the latter.]

[Kitty's already thinking about how her conversation with Rogue went - no mentions of Bobby this time. Instead she focuses on how honestly happy Rogue looked when she broke the news, and grins wider.] She may have mentioned picking up a slightly egotistical boyfriend, but I can't exactly recall what she said about him... [Kitty trails off and pretends to ponder the matter seriously, but it's not long before she starts to laugh.]

Aw, c'mon! [Julian can't help but reach over and playfully grab her side between his fingers in a tickle as she starts laughing, just to give her extra ammunition to giggle. His grin is widening, because he's actually a big ol' dork and he's wondering if Rogue actually called him her boyfriend. They haven't even... gone on a date and the last time a girl called him her boyfriend he kind of freaked the fuck out and got out of that mess. But uh... yeah, that would be scary and soon but he's not opposed to it. No, that's not a bad feeling in his gut. Just an excited, nervous one.

He leans in further, giving Kitty his best set of pleading puppy dog eyes.]

Don't hold out on me. What she say?
