Characters: Logan, Julian
Setting: The still intact kitchen.
Content: Beer and some advice from a man with a lot of experience. Maybe. (We'll see...)
Status: Incomplete.

[Logan's hunched over a beer, not thinking much. It's one of his favourite passtimes, truth be told. Unwinding with a cold beer, a good cigar and...hockey, on the TV above the fridge. He can smell Julian's cologne coming down the hall, considers leaving, but doesn't. He spares the telekinetic a glance and motions to the fridge.]

Beer's in the fridge. Rye's in the cupboard. Season just started.

[He gestured to the TV at Julian's confused look, then kicked out the chair beside him, an unusual invitation.]

Characters: Kevin, Josh, everyone else.
Setting: The rec room.
Content: It's the second day of the MLB playoffs.
Status: Open, incomplete, jump right in! It's the rec room... everyone comes and goes here. Help cheer up Kev, give him a hard time about being such a whiner, make him get his mind off the Braves' awful loss against the Giants, whatever!

"Aaarrrgghgghhhgh." That said, Kevin slumped down into the sofa, the perfect picture of despair and gloom. He tore off one glove to rub his face in frustration, and then, out of obligation, put the glove back on. He angrily turned the TV off and tossed the remote aside.

"Aw, it's only the first game," Josh said, patting Kevin on the back. "Four more to go."

"Easy for you to say," Kevin grumbled. Josh was grinning like mad and had been ever since his own game had concluded earlier in the day. All teams that had made the playoffs were currently competing in a series of five games each. Josh's favorite team, the Yankees, were already leading their own series 2-0, while Kevin's Atlanta Braves had just lost their first game, which was what prompted Kevin to turn the TV off in disgust. Even so... the fact that both of their favorites had made it to the first round of playoffs led them to a surprising friendship.

Kevin's red-and-blue cotton Braves hat sat safely nestled on top of his unruly hair, away from the decaying touch of Kevin's skin. One more look at Josh's jubilant expression at his own team's success just made him grumpier. "I've got all the luck. Bad luck."

"Maybe you should do something else to take your mind off this til the next game starts," Josh suggested.

"Hmph. Maybe."
