[Rogue's decided that she really doesn't like treadmills and is therefore somewhat bundled up so she can take a run outside the lake instead. Logan's been pushing her in training and she's really not fond of feeling like she's going to keel over after every training session. Her solution to this is to work out more and that involves running. In the cold. She's starting to second guess this solution thing.]

Julian... [She knows that one. Oh god, yes, she knows that challenging tone and were they perhaps inside and not on the downside of a power drain, then she probably would've challenged right back. But they weren't. Instead, she let out a soft sigh, dropping the hand curled into his hair down to his shoulder. ] We can't do this right now.

[He manages to smile just barely at that. He licks his lips and nuzzles her hair gently. Really, how could he let this opportunity pass without a whole-hearted try? Plus, it's something. It's not telling her how much he knows he cares; it's not a foolish kiss or an ill-conceived touch. It's something distracting and intimate though. It's something he can give her.] Isn't that half the fun, sweetheart?

[She shakes her head, smiling as she pulls away.] Later, sugah. Did you forget the actual reason why we're out here?

Are you trying to tell me fooling around behind that tree isn't the reason? [He's pulled back too; now he looks down at her with a warm, teasing smile and narrowed eyes.

Hmm... yeah. Yeah, I think I am. [Rogue returns his teasing smile, poking him lightly in the chest. She's just glad that the adverse effects of her powers seem to be wearing off.]

[They are, slowly. He's not sure how much of a productive run he's going to take now though. He'd much rather nap. But he still makes a grab for her poking finger, lingering a bit longer.]

If you say so. [She rolls her eyes as she pulls her hand out of his reach, taking a small step backwards.] I think I'm going to have to stick with getting an actual workout this afternoon.
