[open thread] Bobby's doing what Bobby does best

Okay, I have been SUPER BORED at work recently because there's very little for me to do right now. So I thought it would be a good opportunity to tip-toe back into our awesomeness! I literally cannot remember almost all of our recent/upcoming plot developments, so let's just... keep this chilled (PUN TOTALLY INTENDED)!

Characters: Bobby, YOU!
Setting: Kitchen
Content: Bobby consumes ice cream and talks to you. (CRYSTAL, WHERE IS LAURA, I WANT SOME B/L ADORABLE AWKWARDNESS)
Status: PROBABLY RUSTY.

[It's been a difficult couple of weeks. The mood in the mansion is low due to Kevin's absence. Bobby's worried, and he hasn't been able to get any more information from Logan or Emma (apparently there's not enough to divulge, anyway); he's been swamped with classes and tutoring work and training; he hasn't been able to spend much time with (his girlfriend? That's a whole other issue) Laura; and he still doesn't know how to deal with John.

So Bobby's sitting in the kitchen with his one fail-proof cheer-up method: a huge tub of ice cream.]

I should work on honing that one. [Jono's eyes flash for another second longer before cooling and returning to normal.]

[Bobby lets out a small sigh and rubs his cold hand over his face.]

I don't like this any more than you do. I just wish someone would let me do something. I just... I can't let this happen again. I can't.

[Jono completely shares this frustration right now.]

I know. I feel so... useless. I'm just... letting him down right now.

Yeah. I kind of know what you mean.

[There isn't a lot of ice cream left, and what's left is a melted mess. Bobby re-freezes it and passes the container to Jono.]

Here. You finish it.

[It's a very small and insignificant gesture, but it's Bobby, and it's the last of his favourite vanilla ice cream, so actually - it means a lot.]

[Bobby doesn't need to worry -- Jono knows. And he appreciates. He smiles warmly and then snatches up the ice cream bucket.]

[Bobby shakes his head and smiles.] Don't worry about it, man. [Pause.] And... try not to work yourself up too much over Kevin. I know it's no use telling you not to worry, but... at least try and get some sleep.
