Content: Rogue's sitting by the lake because what happened in the Danger Room is still weighing on her mind. Individual threads please.

[Rogue's sitting outside by the lake in one of the more secluded areas. She needs to think and doesn't want every other person stumbling over her. She's still trying to wrap her head around what happened in the Danger Room the day before the attack. Manifesting powers and various small personality traits for a while after she absorbs someone- that she can handle. Randomly manifesting Magneto's powers and temporarily losing control of her own body? Not so much. Try telling that to Logan...

She closes her eyes and tries to concentrate on Bobby's psyche and his powers. She tries to remember how it felt the other day when she lost control but nothing's happening. Maybe the air around her gets a few degrees cooler but that's it. And maybe she's just imagining it and secretly relieved at the lack of results.

It would be hard to tell what she's doing if someone didn't have an idea though. Because to most people, she's just sitting by the lake, oblivious to the rest of the world.]

[She doesn't take much-- she doesn't need to for this really really stupid idea. It takes a moment for the powers to settle and she pulls off her other glove. A single bone claw pops out and she takes a deep breath, steeling herself and focusing upon Bobby's psyche before driving the claw straight through her palm. The wound starts to heal a dozen seconds later but the pain does its job. Almost.

Part of the lake before them almost immediately ices over which means her really stupid idea work except for one small problem... Iceman's the one in control, not her.]

Marie...Logan's got a warning tone in his voice and his claws extend with a slow 'SNIKT, though he doesn't move a muscle. He waits.]

She's a little busy right now.

[Rogue'd started with Iceman for exactly this reason: his psyche, as twisted of a version of Bobby as it was, was harmless in comparison to Magneto and Wolverine. Iceman/Rogue glanced down at Logan's unsheathed claws and sent a small stream of ice towards him.]

Chill out. She'll be back eventually.

[Logan dislikes the challenge, flicking a wrist to crack the ice. The clod seeps through the adamantium of his claws, getting into his bones, but this is nothing compared to winter in the Rockies. He glares at the permutation of his protege.]

I think bringing her back now is the better option, unless you want to find out what it feels like to grow back your arms.

Technically, those would be her arms.

[The psyche grins, leaning back and making him/herself comfortable. A second later, Rogue's body doubles in half and Rogue's in control again.] I'm going to kill that-- [And then she's gone again and Iceman's back with that same grin.]

[Logan can't decide which is more annoying, Bobby Drake's goody-two-shoes cum tough-as-nails attitude, or his psyche's smug and cocky manifestation.]

Who knew the Iceman could be so much like Hellion. [Yeah, he's smirking back, ready to cut the grin off Rogue's pretty face. He knows it'll grow back good as new.] You really don't wanna push me, punk.

[The psyche casually raises a hand, sending another stream of ice towards Logan only to fall to the ground right as it reaches him. Rogue's fought her way back into control. She breathes heavily as she presses both palms against the ground, trying to collect herself before she turns to give him another one of those incredulous looks.]

You were going to cut off my arms? Seriously?

[Logan shrugs, his expression unreadable. you really don't want to play poker with this guy.]

Can you pull up the deep freeze without rallying the peanut gallery?

[Rogue shakes her head, one hand coming up to her temple.]

I don't know. Maybe? Not with with what I just tried though. I can't figure out how to separate the powers from the rest of the psyche.

[He sheaths his claws and looks down, thinking.]

How do you do it with fresh powers? It can't be that different pulling things out of storage.

The powers are just there. [She shrugs.] I've never had to think about it. The psyches don't fight me until later usually.
