[Kevin invited Bobby for a Danger Room session because he is one of (very) few people he's not too afraid to throw down with, ever since Bobby demonstrated that he's immune to Kevin's powers while in ice form. But the Danger Room is not booked right now, and it's free-for-all, and probably there's going to be a lot of people stepping around here.]

[Bobby walks into the Danger Room already in his ice form and grins when he sees Kevin, who's standing in the middle of the room with his hands in his pockets.]

So, got any plans for this session?

[Kevin turns, and then in one fluid motion brings his hands out of his pockets and throws something towards Bobby. Just a harmless foam knife, but properly weighted for accuracy, and it hits Bobby solidly in the middle of his chest before bouncing to the ground.]

Just testing your reflexes to get warmed up.

[Bobby raises an eyebrow with a smirk, flexing his fingers.] That's the way it's gonna be, huh?

[In a lighting-fast move, he throws a couple of baseball-sized spheres of ice at Kevin, who just manages to duck out of the way.]

[Kevin is hunched over shielding his face instinctively from the ice bullets, but he's smiling a little.]

I've got to remember to bundle up whenever I'm throwing down with you.

I guess it's lucky the uniforms have sleeves...

[He stops throwing projectiles at Kevin and tosses his last ball of ice from hand to hand.]

So, want to work on hand-to-hand stuff or what?

Yup. [A curt nod from Kevin and the two begin circling each other and assume a ready position, hands forward, with feet apart. It goes without saying that Bobby's one of the only people, along with Logan, that Kevin can technique spar with. Even so, Kevin keeps his gloves on, to simulate a more realistic situation.]

Nothing that's useful... yet. [Bobby's last word is half-grunted as he spins and aims a roundhouse kick at Kevin. The other boy blocks him fairly neatly, though he's pushed back a step, but he recovers quickly and throws a punch back at Bobby.]
