Hair of the dog and then off to training!

[Ali's had some trouble waking up lately so she usually misses breakfast. Today, she falls onto the floor tangled in her sheets, dangerously close to being late for group Danger Room session. She takes a healthy swig from the half-empty bottle of Jack form the night before and chases it with stale coffee from yesterday afternoon.

She scrambles off to training, hopping around as she tries to simultaneously get dressed and race through the hallways, cursing as she goes.]

[Ali takes a load off after givin'er in training, grabbing a cup of coffee from the kitchen and heading outside for a smoke on the steps. She's brought a book with her, but she's a bit too tired to read, and is enjoying the crisp autumn morning in silence.]

[It's just about time for Days of Our Lives and Ali loads up with a fresh mug of coffee, wandering in to the rec room to plop down on the couch and turn on the tube, waiting for Forge or anyone else to join her.]

[After her stories, Ali's headed down to the Danger Room to log some extra training hours, it keeps her mind off more stressful things, and she's amped up by the progress she's been making with Emma.

She's bopping and jiving as she jogs through the halls in a sorts bra and cutoff AC/DC T-Shirt and a pair of cargo shorts. She looks like a reject from an 80's metal video, and it's pretty boss.]

[Ali's hit the showers, but forgot a change of clothes. She's in a rush, she's got places to be, so she has to scamper through the halls to her room in just a towel. luckily, it's not the farthest trek on the grounds...]

[A quick snack, another healthy swig of whiskey, and Ali's off to work. She's been picking up some gigs as tech hand at a little venue in town. Since she has no car, she's stuck roller skating there and back, unless someone gives her a ride.]

[Back home again, more than a little drunk, Ali's tired but not really ready for bed. She scrambles up to the roof and lies down on the shingles, her headphones loud in her ears. She takes the time to practice her light illusions, all manner of things appearing and then disappearing around her in the night. She's getting better, and her imagination is pretty wild. Anyone watching might mistake the creations as real, if they didn't know better.]
