"Thanks," she repeated just as softly. She was far calmer now: the psyches were dormant again and that feeling of normalcy was starting to return. As that returned, so did the feeling that as comforting as this was, it wasn't quite right and she needed to move away. It wasn't something she could bring herself to do yet though.
