The Danger Room is set up in a pretty bad ass way. It's dusty, fiery, full of broken buildings and pipes. It's Wonderland for this big guy up here. And like... two of his buddies. Maybe five. Who knows. That's right, he brought friends.

[Now that just pissed the Sentinel off, Jonothan Starsmore. The Sentinel raises his hand in Jono's general direction again.]

[Ali's closing in fast on Jono, powering up for a huge photon assault on the sentinel she's fleeing from. She holds out her arm to him, motioning for her to spin her around to face the thing.]

[Circling back around, Ali come back to close in on Jono, noting the Iceman's preparation to put the sentinel on the deep freeze.]

Chamber, give me a leg up--I can overload it's visual sensors, give Drake a window to trip it up.

How does Logan do this shit all the time...?

[Ali reels for a split second, finding her bearings in the air before gracefully arcing into a backflip while releasing a mega ultra sonic-powered photonic blast directly in the sentinel's face, disorienting it. Unfortunately, Ali can't fly, she can only fall with style, and she careens through the air hoping to catch the outside of the sentinel's falling limb to cruise back down to the ground.]

Jono arrived in a flash, and was there to catch Ali in the perfect pose of a bride and groom. He even managed to remember to use a little of his telepathy to give her a softer landing instead of crashing down into his arms.

"Haha! Nice work!" he crowed. "That's a little Special of our own! A Screwball Special. Cause you're a little screwy in the head."

Ali gave him a glare.

"And so am I?" Jono offered as compromise.

Ali couldn't stay mad at him, even fake-mad. "You don't even know what a screwball is, do you?"

"Josh makes me watch his Yankees games," Jono said as they scooted away to launch another attack on a new robot.

OOC: AUGH WIN! Jono & Ali make such a great, great team!

"If we're gonna stick with the uneducated sports metaphors," Ali said, keeping pace with Jono on her roller skates as they ran into range of another sentinel, "wanna dish out a one-two punch?"

She pointed at the visual sensor, then below just a bit to the exposed cables and circuitry at the neck and hip joints of the giant. "I'll blind it again like before, you take it down at the hips, then we both come in at the neck and leave this hunk of junk for scrap."

Jono gave her a wink and a nod, and made a step for Ali with his hands. "One Screwball Special, coming up!"

They did exactly as Ali had suggested, and their move worked like a charm. Jono found that while Ali had the robot's visual sensors blocked, he could scramble up the Sentinel's leg without much risk of being blasted off. The Sentinel tried and fried its own leg, while Jono used his energy blasts to burn away at the neck.
