[open log] just kill him. he'd rather die.
Characters: Julian Keller, you.
Setting: The mansion's den.
Content: The most boring movie in the world is being watched. By Julian Keller.
Status: Open and Incomplete.
[After trying to read Jane Eyre, then trying to read Jane Slayre (only marginally better), then trying to read the CliffNotes and feeling a tad pathetic about giving up so completely, Julian is now watching the movie Jane Eyre on the couch in the den. No one else is around, because it's almost one in the morning on a Tuesday.
But Julian Keller does what he has to do okay. And right now that thing is trying not to fall asleep watching this movie. Look at his face. He... hates this movie so much.]

You do know that there are always changes between the book and the movie, right sugah?
no subject
Of course I know that, sugar. Maybe I was just watching the movie because I enjoyed reading the book so much.

So what did you think of the part where she finds her mother?
no subject
Isn't her mom dead or something?
no subject
You know I'm not going to help you with your essay unless you actually read the book, yeah?
no subject
You know, I resent that. I read the book, sugar. I didn't get about 90% of it, but I read the book. It's the only thing I've been doing since you told me to read the thing, sweetheart. [And he finishes this off with a humorless "yeah I'm a smart cookie" smile.]

Just as long as you be somewhat intelligent when you write about it.

And then because he's Julian Keller, he lets out an aggravated sigh and gets off the couch to follow her into the kitchen.]
Excuse me, sweetheart.
[Yeah, he's smiling like a cocky bastard and knowing how much he's irritating her with his presence. That's why he makes sure to invade her personal space when he reaches over the stove for a glass from the cabinet. He's thirsty.]

Now what the hell was that for?

Then he just hovers there right over her and just... glares down at her smart-ass little face.]
Now you're in my way. [And he... gestures to the sink behind her.]

Thank you.
[And then he slips by her to the sink to get his water.]
