[open log] say hello to the blondes
Characters: Stepford Cuckoos, you.
Setting: The mansion's living area. The quieter one with the piano and no television.
Content: The Cuckoos are spending a Saturday night in. As usual.
Status: Open and incomplete.
Note: Thoughts are in italics. :)
[Currently, Celeste in curled up on the couch intently reading Jane Eyre for class. Phoebe's laying back on the cushions and checking her hair for split ends. And Mindee is playing some Debussy on the piano.]

He passed through the other living room, and could hear the piano music. It sounded kind of like they didn't want to be disturbed. He tiptoed past the three sisters and he returned to his room.

"Hrm," Celeste intoned in agreement, absorbed in her book.
Mindee finished a page of her music in a flourish.

(holy crap i write a lot...)
Warren registered two of the Cuckoo sisters lounging around, one reading and the other examining her hair. Girls, he mused. And then he saw her. And he knew it was her, the one called Mindee. It had to be. Her fingers moved effortlessly over the keys, a look of peace on her face, strands of blonde hair falling into her face. Warren didn't know what had gotten into him, but he was transfixed, and couldn't stop staring at her. Maybe she's a Veela... like in Harry Potter, he wondered.
Re: (holy crap i write a lot...)
Isn't that adorable? MIndee asked with a sarcastic, pleased quality.
Veelas weren't the nicest creatures, Celeste pointed out.
All the same, sister, he seems to find you enchanting, Phoebe pointed out dryly.
I don't know why you find him so interesting, Celeste added.
We've tried boys, Phoebe added, and she was, without mentioning any names, referring to one Julian Keller. Boys are trouble.
The angel doesn't look like trouble, Mindee answered, and this time, she projected the thought onto Warren with a small smile. Both Celeste and Phoebe glanced her way in reaction. Are you trouble, angel?
Re: (holy crap i write a lot...)
Warren glanced at all three girls as they obviously communicated telepathically between themselves. It made him feel a little uncomfortable. What were they saying?
Then suddenly, he heard Mindee's sweet voice in his head, thankful she had finally included him in the sister's non-verbal conversation. He grinned a little at her comment, and attempted to project his own thought back to her. Only if you want me to be. It was said simply, casually, not at all in the flirtacious manner that a Julian Keller or a John Allerdyce might express otherwise.

All three sisters giggled, looking at each other as if Warren told a joke. They sobered quickly, and Mindee slid down on her piano bench. If you're not too much trouble, you may come and sit with me.

"There's really only one thing I can play on here, do you want to hear it?" Warren asked, slightly nervous.
