Kevin doesn't really like to hang out in the crowded, noisy common room most of the time. If he gets invited join in on video games, he'll play along, perched on the back of a sofa away from everyone else. But most of the time when it's packed full of people, he gets panicky from the crowd.

He passed through the other living room, and could hear the piano music. It sounded kind of like they didn't want to be disturbed. He tiptoed past the three sisters and he returned to his room.

Even though the music didn't stop, Kevin could feel the three pairs of eyes trained on him. He stopped, and grinned at the girls sheepishly. "Sorry," he said.

(holy crap i write a lot...)

Warren could hear the piano music from quite a while away. It was beautiful, a rise and fall of melodies, lifting his spirits and then suddenly making him feel sombre. Whoever was playing REALLY knew how to play. Suddenly curious, Warren made his way down the hallways of the school, towards the sound of the music. He eventually found himself at a part of the mansion he rarely frequented, at the open doorway of a lounge suite. It was on the opposite side to his dorm room and since he usually hung out with Jono, they liked to play games and watch TV. And there was no TV in this room.

Warren registered two of the Cuckoo sisters lounging around, one reading and the other examining her hair. Girls, he mused. And then he saw her. And he knew it was her, the one called Mindee. It had to be. Her fingers moved effortlessly over the keys, a look of peace on her face, strands of blonde hair falling into her face. Warren didn't know what had gotten into him, but he was transfixed, and couldn't stop staring at her. Maybe she's a Veela... like in Harry Potter, he wondered.

(ooc: lol, it's annoying that you can't edit when you don't have a paid account!! D:)

Warren glanced at all three girls as they obviously communicated telepathically between themselves. It made him feel a little uncomfortable. What were they saying?

Then suddenly, he heard Mindee's sweet voice in his head, thankful she had finally included him in the sister's non-verbal conversation. He grinned a little at her comment, and attempted to project his own thought back to her. Only if you want me to be. It was said simply, casually, not at all in the flirtacious manner that a Julian Keller or a John Allerdyce might express otherwise.

Warren stared at the free space on the bench, and after a moment, moved from the doorway and strolled across the room towards the piano. He sat down next to Mindee and whispered, "Thank you," even though he knew the other Cuckoos could probably hear him anyway.

"There's really only one thing I can play on here, do you want to hear it?" Warren asked, slightly nervous.
