[HALLWAY] Julian/Rogue scene
“Hey sweetheart,” Julian said as he passed Rogue in the hallway, flashing her one of his trademarked grins and reaching out to lightly brush her cheek with a bare hand.
Remembering their activities on the roof for the past few nights, Rogue felt herself flush red and she quickly slapped his hand away. “Don’t touch me!” Her green eyes darted around the hallway, reassuring herself that no one had seen.
“And why not?” he asked, raising an eyebrow. “It’s more than okay when we’re alone.”
Doing her best to ignore him, she continued walking in the opposite direction only to be dragged unceremoniously backwards and into an empty classroom by an unseen force. As the door slammed shut behind her, he spun her around to face him and kissed her before she could even let out a single word of protest. All other thoughts, including those of slapping him again, vanished from her mind and were replaced by those of the very interesting things that Julian Keller could do with his tongue.
Bobby’s kisses had never been anything like this. Not even close. Those thoughts of her ex-boyfriend vanished as well as Julian took several steps forward, making her take several backwards, until her back was pressed against the wall. One arm was wrapped possessively around her waist while his other hand came up to lightly brush her cheek as they broke for air.
“Now why can’t we do this out there, beautiful?” he asked her with a smirk.
Inwardly, Rogue winced. This was the last argument she wanted to have right now. Putting on a fake smile, she replied lightly, “Sorry, sugah, I just ain’t one for major PDAs.”
A frown briefly crossed his face before vanishing as quickly as it had appeared. “Well, what about little ones then?”
She lowered her gaze to stare straight ahead at his chest. “I- I can’t, Julian. Not yet. You know that.”
He gently lifted her chin up again to force her to look him in the eye. “Can’t or won’t, sweetheart?”
“I'm here with you in a classroom where anyone could walk in on us. That's got to count for something,” she said with a half smile.
The frown from before returned as he dropped both hands back to his sides. “Yeah, honey,” he said curtly. “Let me chalk that one up for you.”
Rogue’s smile faltered for a moment. “Come on, sugah. I'm really trying to make things work here.”
“Nothing’s ever simple with you,” he replied sharply.
“Well that’s just how life is,” she answered. “Life ain’t simple and stuff like this… it sure as hell ain’t simple.”
“Yeah, because if it was, everyone would know about us already, Marie.”
She flinched at his use of her real name. “I told you- I don’t want to hurt Bobby!”
He folded his arms across his chest and took a step backwards. “Yeah, you’re hurting me instead!” he said, his voice trembling with emotion.
Shocked, Rogue had no reply as she turned her face away from him again. It was a few moments before she was finally able to force herself to face him again. “Julian, I-” she began haltingly. Slowly, he turned back towards her, obviously struggling to control his emotions. She took a few hesitant steps towards him and raised a hand to gently cup his cheek. “I don’t want to hurt you either, sugah.”
He looked down at his feet and shifted uneasily. “I know...” He sighed momentarily, reaching for her hand. Their fingers twined together and he pulled her closer. “Can you blame me for wanting to touch you?”
“I guess not,” she said softly. “That’s what boyfriends usually want to do, right?”
He smiled, exhaling an amused breath. “Usually,” he agreed, hands resting low on her waist.
“I guess it’s just normal then,” Rogue said. Rising up ever so slightly on to her toes, she kissed him swiftly on the lips before pulling away. “I’ve got to go to class, sugah.”
Smirking, he held her from leaving for another moment. “If I promised not to ravish you on the way there,” he kidded, “would you let me walk you?”
She tilted her head to the side, considering the matter. “Possibly.”
He leaned in a little, lips brushing the edge of her mouth teasingly. “Is possibly yes?”
“Maaaaaybe,” she said, drawing out the word with a grin.
“I think that’s a yes...” He proclaimed, planting a lingering kiss on her. Grinning, he walked forward, pressing her softly against the wall and between him, palm distractedly searching for the doorknob. “Definitely a yes.” He said, twisting the knob and pulling away just enough to say the words.
“You’re evil- you know that?” she grumbled good-naturedly before pulling away from him completely. “Come on, I’m already late.”
