[Throughout this whole fight, a few more Madrox dupes have entered the scene. Bobby has been dealing with them quickly, efficiently, one eye still on the fight with Mystique.
He's just dispatched the last dupe (are there any more left? he can't help thinking wearily) when he sees John dive for the weapon. He doesn't know what it is, but he realises this must be their only chance to stop Mystique - who's still wearing Kitty's face.
John has little chance of figuring out which one is the real Kitty when they're moving that fast. So Bobby holds up his hands.]
