[Okay, now Bobby's mad. His organic ice form protects him for the most part, but that doesn't mean the kick doesn't hurt.

He wonders briefly why their attacks keep missing, and remembers what he read in the file: somewhere, Longshot is messing with them. One sweeping glance isn't enough to reveal where he is, and the Madroxes are closing in.

Time for a less... visible tactic. One that doesn't rely quite so much on luck.

Back to back with Jono, he 'thinks' a message to let him know what's going on.]

I'm gonna try something; distract the ones on your side with a few energy blasts on my signal.

[The Iceman reaches out with his powers, feeling for the heat, the liquid in the bodies that surround him.]

NOW!

[Just as Jono lets loose with energy blasts that still seem not to land, the dupes on Bobby's side of the circle suddenly begin crying out and groaning in agony. Bobby hasn't even moved his hands from a defensive position; he doesn't need to. He allows their blood flow to keep cooling, freezing, slowing, until he's sure they're unconscious.

With another telepathic command, he and Jono spin around and he does the same to the dupes on his side, while Jono watches his back.

Soon they're standing in the middle of a circle of limp bodies. And Bobby glances over his shoulder at Jono and simply picks up where he left off.]

Idiotic. It was completely idiotic.
