He is always tinkering, never without a ratchet or screwdriver or mini soldering gun on his person and a new gadget in his hands or on his mind.
He tinkers in the ktichen, fixing blenders, souping up the cold storage, keeping beers colder, preserving twinkies for longer (not that it's really needed, but a man must keep busy somehow.)
He tinkers in front of the TV, or in his lab, sometimes fixing or upgrading the artificial limbs he has built for himself, the high cost of serving his country. He takes comissions gladly, building and improving tools for his friends and the students at the school. Chest plates, roller skates, electrically insulated gloves. He can design the most complex of training simluations in his dreams and loves to push the limits of the Danger Room's technology, communing with it like a favoured pet more than just a machine.
He is Forge, the Maker. Mutant and hero, solider and shaman and all things between. His is a life of invention, of innovation!
