Warren was playing a slow, drawn out song on his acoustic guitar when his sharp ears heard the commotion downstairs, including muffled voices on the TV. Curious, he put down his guitar on the floor, stood up and switched on his own TV. When the screen came into focus, and he saw what his fellow mutants had seen he took a sudden step back, and fell awkwardly onto his bed.

"No," he whispered, his head shaking. "No..."

His eyes were wide, his breathing suddenly irregular; his hands balled into fists and then angrily curled into his hair.

I have seen the error in my actions.

'Bullshit,' Warren thought. He was going to get revenge.

He was going to get revenge on his father for creating the cure. He just knew it.

Warren laid down onto his bed, and he closed his eyes, and tried to calm down. It wasn't working.

"FUCK!"
